Our home away from home for two weeks, the Abbeymoore B & B
Victoria Harbor on a Saturday afternoon. The large building in the background is the provencial legislative offices.
Another shot of the harbor with the provencial customs office and the Hotel Grand Pacific in behind that.
Another harbor shot! Everyone was waiting for a free concert to start out in the harbor on a barge. Victoria Symphony Orchestra was playing but we didn't stay, too tired!! But we could hear them up at the inn.
View across the Juan de Fuca Strait looking towards Washington and the Olympia Mountains. If we crossed the street from the Abbeymoore and went behind the BC Government house this was the view.
Us at one of the overlooks on the Malahat drive going north from Victoria to Schwartz Bay. Nice folks from England took this for us.
Just one of the many beautiful views from the East Sooke Provencial Park. My kind of place, hardly
anyone there and it was free to get in!
This is Red and he is one of the Inn kitties. Loved to sit out on the patio with us while we were having breakfeast. He only has 3 legs and his tail is all bent up but is a sweetheart!
The sunken gardens at Butchart Gardens. This was an old limestone quarry that Mrs Butchart converted to a garden.
Mr Octopus at the aquarium in Victoria harbor.
Claire with 500 year old cedar tree.
Church and State Vineyards! Love the name!
One of the many pics of Orkas we got, this guy is doing a tail stand for us!
Little Willy welcomes us home in his usual way!!
