Vacation, Renovation, Office-ification (well, it kind of rhymes...)

How is everyone this week?  Damp?  : )

We're kind of on vacation this week.  Of course, we still answer the office phone, and Sandeep is in fact out seeing an emergency patient right now, but he has a few days off from scheduled nursing home visits, anyways. 

All sorts of things are going on around here, though!  We're renovating both our bathrooms - one at a time, so we don't have to bathe in a bucket (although, with the current weather, we could just stand outside for awhile in lieu of taking shower).  First, we're adding a shower to the downstairs bathroom; then, we're fancy-fying (like my new words this week?) the upstairs bathroom.  It's such an awful little space right now, with saggy ceiling tiles and walls made with some sort of cardboard-like sheetrock predecessor.  Aside from rebuilding the room (and INSULATING it!), we're making it a little bigger, since there's a funny empty area beside it that's never been used, and adding a separate shower.  I say "we" but, for once, most of the work is being done by someone else - our very nice carpenter and his helpers - since, given the speed at which we work, we wouldn't have a finished bathroom for months.  Humble Gumby Construction, you know... 

Also, the closing on our soon-to-be office building is this Friday!  We're excited!
