The days are flying by.......

Friday we drove across Utah on a white knuckle ride that would make most roller coasters seem tame.
Roads with 1000 foot drops on both sides and no guard rails of any kind.  Met up with Arn and family at
"the mansion". ........beautiful house way out in the country with a million birds chirping and singing.

Saturday we spent a very warm day at a very crowded Zion National Park, but still managed to have a good
time.

On a hike to the Emerald Pools we found this wonderful waterfall to stand under.

Most of Zion is just too huge, and the walls of the canyon just too big to even attempt photographing.  Our poor little camera
just isn't up to the task.

Sunday we hung around the house all morning.  In the afternoon we traveled up to Bryce Canyon and spent the rest of
the day hiking in the breathtaking beauty of the orange hoodoos.  Can't wait to see Hannah's photos of this fun family adventure.
Here's Patty walking through an opening in a hoodoo.
And Matt and Dave in front of some hoodoos.

  1. Hoodoos! Hoodoos! So much fun to say...and fun to see you all with the hoodoos, too. We're also waiting impatiently to see Hannie's photos! Glad you're all having fun.
