Congratulations Luna

Luna has either beaten or matched her grandfather's old record for the earliest recorded swim of the season.  Some of you may remember that a bunch of us lunatics took a swim in Stoughton Pond while there was still ice on it, over the Easter weekend, many, many, years ago.  Luna tried to get the jump on me (literally) by leaping off the bridge into Lillie Brook last week much to the surprise of her father who was forced to follow suit in order to rescue his baby.  All ended well and Luna's only real concern seems to be that her shoes were all wet.

On another subject...........don't take any chances with lightning!!!!  Last week our electric fence got hit and killed by what must have been a direct hit.  The charger has a built in fuse to protect against lightning strikes, but the poor little fuse was apparently no match for the lightning.  Our charger was blown apart like a stick of dynamite was set off inside of it.  It was blown off the wall, across the room, and into numerous pieces.  Glad it was the charger and not one of my body parts!!!

  1. "SHOES ALL WET!" Hee hee. It HAS been awfully warm, though - who can blame her for wanting a swim?

FENCE CHARGER EXPLODE - not so funny. Glad no one, bovine or human, was blown up with it.
